Treen Common Circle Enclosure is something of an enigma. It is not known for certain whether it is an unusually large Bronze Age circle or perhaps an Iron Age settlement round or pound.

It consists of an irregular, elliptical ring of 14 upright and numerous fallen stones, with a diameter of 99-110 feet. It is clearly prehistoric, as it stands in the middle of a prehistoric field system.
