A short distance to the west of the Balnuaran of Clava Cairns are the remains of another cemetery called Milton of Clava. Its original extent is not known, but there are subtle indications of a number of monuments in the vicinity of a denuded cairn, probably a further passage grave.

Prominent at the site is an almost eight foot standing stone, possibly part of a former stone circle.

Adjacent to the cairn are the foundations of a stone building thought to be the remains of a medieval chapel.
