St. Piran's Cross is an eight foot tall cross that stands close to the ruins of St. Piran's Old Church and, a bit further away, the sand-buried St. Piran's Oratory.

This is the earliest recorded stone cross in Cornwall and is dedicated to its patron saint and that of tinners and miners.

Every March 5th on St. Piran's Day, thousands dressed in black, white, and gold, and carrying the Cornish Flag march across the sand dunes to St. Piran's Cross.
